Y.E.S. Uganda – Mission & Goals

"Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime"

The mission focus of Y.E.S. Uganda is to provide orphan youth with opportunities and support to become self reliant and able to give back to their society. All children have equal worth and equal rights and as such, we believe that every child should have the chance to become a healthy, educated and empowered individual.

We see our mission as helping orphans of Uganda live a better life. Thanks to your generous donations we are able to meet the needs of African orphans living in grueling poverty, facing hunger and malnutrition every day.

Starting with nothing, this work blessed by God has grown into what exists now. More than 500 African orphans are now assisted by way of food, health, mentoring and schooling.

Through this avenue of meeting the needs of others, the main goal of showing the Love of God in Christ Jesus is met. This is facilitated in nurturing and training orphan youth to be self-sufficient citizens, non reliant on governmental services.

We welcome you to partner with us in this precious field God has called us to cultivate!
